It clearly says, “The Joy of the Lord is our strength.” So have you heard, what is His Joy? Job saw the joy upon His face because He rendered and returned unto man His righteousness. Christ the righteousness of God is His Spirit and Truth.
His strength is what made us perfect and complete lacking nothing; even though we may see or feel weakness. Christ in us is His Joy. The glorious power of God that raised Jesus UP and out of death, hell and the grave is called the Gospel of Christ. The Spirit that is the same spirit in us which raised Him up is called the Spirit of Holiness. Romans 1:4 & 15:19 & 29
The fruit of His Spirit is His LOVE and that love is Holy and full of His goodness that leads us to turn around and believe again. This word “goodness” in Galatians 5:22 means to gifted now by the presence of His Glory, and made us to BE righteous in our heart and in our life. (Also see Luke 1:75) Christ in you is the HOLINESS we need to SEE God with a pure heart. What He required He placed as His Gift IN YOU!! It’s THERE now, not someday which is only hope deferred making our hearts sick. Christ in YOU is His HOPE and HIS GLORY now in you.
Knowing this brings joy and peace when we receive and believe this good news. Our JOY increases giving thanks to His Name that is Holy. Knowing this treasure abides inside of human vessels right now; joined unto the Lord as one spirit allows us to enter into rest. Our eyes seeing clearly now, that I am a joint-heir to God’s grace gift. The same Spirit that quickened and raised up Jesus is the same spirit who dwell’s within us. Holiness is not a verb but a noun. The Person and finished work of Christ Jesus, the Son of God and the Good News of our King and His Kingdom.
We are encouraged to renew the Kingdom at Gilgal. Gilgal means the place where the stone has been rolled away. His Kingdom is now and in Christ righteousness, peace, and joy in the Spirit of Holiness. His Spirit and Truth. We love Him because He first loved us. We are waking up to the magnitude that we are His workmanship, in the power of His endless love, perfect and complete provision from the beginning.
They were exhorted when they reached the Promise Land to “keep this service.” What service is this? The Passover also called the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is the type and shadow of the sinless, innocent, blameless, spotless Lamb of God in whom we are all partakes of His divine nature through the death and resurrection of ONE Man. The Man Christ Jesus our Lord and King.
Jesus said, “Do this to remember Me.” The sinless bread His body and the body we share with Him. The new wine is His eternal life and the royal blood of His perfect love and life flowing freely to all. Signifying He first LOVED us!! God’s Glory is Christ within us and the reason for our joy to be overflowing.
He put the Man Christ Jesus in the Garden of God to dress and keep it. To cover us with His glory and to be the only mediator between God and man. It is He that is keeping eternal everlasting covenant oaths FOR THEM. He even remembers FOR THEM according to His perpetual mercies. The atonement was FOR THEM, to cleanse them and to keep them sanctified and glorified before God all the days of our lives.
It is this GOODNESS that leads us to change our minds about who we thought God is. Even God our Father is kind to the unthankful and evil unbelieving heart. In THIS mercy He HATH finished the work for us. As we receive this mercy we faint not. In this kindness we are tenderhearted and forgiving even as God in Christ HATH forgiven us. His yoke is now easy because we see and know Him and we are joined unto the Lord as one spirit. He made us glad and ONE by His workmanship created in Christ Jesus from the beginning.
His workmanship is when Jesus said, I must be about My Father’s Business. That business was established FTB (from the beginning). Jesus was focused on confirming every oath and showing forth the unconditional Love of an everlasting invisible, unmovable and unshakable Peace in the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world.
