A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. Broken means to be stricken and afflicted. He was wounded and afflicted for us so that we could know Him and His Gospel of Peace. Ezekiel 16:10 … He binds up their wounds with fine linen and Linen is Christ the Righteousness of the Saints. The same Spirit we share with Him is Romans 1:4 and we are sharing the same Spirit of Holiness that has made the Son of God with power to rest in His Finished work.
He healed the broken in heart and bound up their wounds with His Spirit of Holiness, His Glory Christ in us. Wrapped in His Loving grace and mercy, sealed it with His Covenant of Peace. “Peace” (Greek 1515 in Strong’s Concordance) is the way of His salvation and it made us exempt from any rage or havoc of war. His Peace is harmony and rest for us but we must “LET IT GO” … those things HE is not fighting. Our warfare has ended, to hear quietness, and to rest in His divine order with ease. Now to give our thanks and praise for His Wonderful Works!! Always-N-Joy, Joanne
