“Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.” 1 Samuel 11:14
Gilgal means a wheel, rolling away, a town between Jordan and Jericho.
The rolling away of the stone from off the grave and from off the well. Where does the Life of Christ come from? From the inside out and it comes out of the mouth. The grave Jesus has conquered is the tongue of the serpent which beguiles. The Kingdom of God and all the words of His mouth are in righteousness. Also called the tongue of the learned and there is no guile found in their mouth.
“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to the weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” Isaiah 50:4-7
“And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and they roll the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep.” Genesis 29:8
